Spaghetti with pesto
Preparation time approx. 25 minutes
The ingredients for 2 people
| 200 g | BSCHÜSSIG 3-egg spaghetti (1.8 mm x 24 cm) |
| 1 bunch | Basil, fresh |
| 1 toe | Garlic |
| 2 TBSP. | Parmesan grated |
| 2 TBSP. | Pine nuts |
| 1.5 dl | Olive oil, cold pressed |
| Salt | |
| Pepper |
The preparation
- Put 2-3l of fresh water on to boil for the pasta. When the water is boiling, add 1-1½ tbsp salt and then the SUGGEST spaghetti and cook "Al Dente" according to the time instructions on the packet (approx. 9-11 minutes).
- Roast the pine nuts in a tea pan for 2 - 3 min.
- Wash basil leaves and grind or mix with olive oil, pine nuts, grated Parmesan, garlic and pepper and season with salt.
- In a separate pan, heat the pesto, add some of the pasta water
- Add the al dente cooked spaghetti to the pesto, mix well and leave to stand for 2 - 3 min.
- Dress the spaghetti with the pesto and serve with some freshly grated Parmesan and black pepper.
