Spirals with spicy vodka sauce

Preparation time approx. 45 minutes

The ingredients for 2 people

200 gBSCHÜSSIG 3-Egg Spirals
400 gStrained tomatoes
120 gSmoked ham in one piece
180 gSour cream
1 dlVodka
2 toesGarlic
2 TBSP.Olive oil, cold pressed
1/2 bunchParsley, fresh
1 TSPChilli flakes
2 TBSP.Parmesan, or cheese grater
Salt
Pepper

The preparation

  1. Soak chilli flakes in vodka for about an hour
  2. Chop the garlic and parsley separately and cut the ham into 1 cm cubes.
  3. Put 2-3l of fresh water on to boil for the pasta and add 1-1½ tbsp of salt when the water boils.
  4. Fry the ham cubes in olive oil until they colour slightly, reduce the temperature, add the garlic, sauté briefly, deglaze with vodka and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the strained tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Add the sour cream and parsley and season with salt.
  7. Cook the BSCHÜSSIG spirals "Al Dente" according to the time instructions on the packaging (approx. 7-9 minutes). Then add to the sauce and let stand for 2 - 3 min.
  8. Serve with parmesan
