Spirals with spicy vodka sauce
Preparation time approx. 45 minutes
The ingredients for 2 people
| 200 g | BSCHÜSSIG 3-Egg Spirals |
| 400 g | Strained tomatoes |
| 120 g | Smoked ham in one piece |
| 180 g | Sour cream |
| 1 dl | Vodka |
| 2 toes | Garlic |
| 2 TBSP. | Olive oil, cold pressed |
| 1/2 bunch | Parsley, fresh |
| 1 TSP | Chilli flakes |
| 2 TBSP. | Parmesan, or cheese grater |
| Salt Pepper |
The preparation
- Soak chilli flakes in vodka for about an hour
- Chop the garlic and parsley separately and cut the ham into 1 cm cubes.
- Put 2-3l of fresh water on to boil for the pasta and add 1-1½ tbsp of salt when the water boils.
- Fry the ham cubes in olive oil until they colour slightly, reduce the temperature, add the garlic, sauté briefly, deglaze with vodka and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the strained tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add the sour cream and parsley and season with salt.
- Cook the BSCHÜSSIG spirals "Al Dente" according to the time instructions on the packaging (approx. 7-9 minutes). Then add to the sauce and let stand for 2 - 3 min.
- Serve with parmesan
