Hörnli egg casserole
The ingredients
400 g | BSCHÜSSIG Hörnli medium |
6 pcs. | fresh eggs |
2 dl | Milk |
100 g | Tomato cubes |
100 g | Ham cubes |
1 TSP | chopped parsley |
Ground nutmeg, spices and salt | |
100 g | Mozzarella in slices |
The preparation
Pasta
2-31 Put on fresh water for the pasta and bring to the boil. When the water boils, add 1-12 tbsp salt and then the BSCHÜSSIG Hörnli and cook "Al Dente" according to the time indicated on the packaging (approx. 6-8 minutes). So that you don't miss the time, set the kitchen timer for the shorter time and try the consistency of the pasta from time to time. When it is done, drain the pasta and add a few flakes of butter or a little olive oil, if you like, and mix it in.
Casserole
Whisk the eggs and milk together and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add the chopped parsley. Mix the cooked BSCHÜSSIG Hörnli with the diced tomatoes and ham.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Butter the casserole dish and place the croissants, tomatoes and ham in it. Pour the egg milk over the casserole, cover with baking paper and place in the oven. When the sauce has thickened after about 10-15 minutes, remove the baking parchment and cover the casserole with the mozzarella rabe and return to the oven.
